Protect yourself and others: take precautions against COVID-19.

Practice proper hand-washing and use hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available. Maintain a six (6) foot distance from others and avoid large gatherings when possible. Avoid touching the face or shaking hands. Disinfect frequently-touched surfaces such as doorknobs and handrails. Stay home if you are sick.

Statewide Shelter-in-Place Extended

April 8, 2020: Governor Brian Kemp delivered an update regarding Georgia's continued response to COVID-19. Governor Kemp extended the statewide state of emergency through May 13th, and the statewide shelter-in-place order through April 30, 2020. The Governor also prohibited vacation rentals in the state. Georgia beaches and State Parks remain open.
