Practice proper hand-washing and use hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available. Maintain a six (6) foot distance from others and avoid large gatherings when possible. Avoid touching the face or shaking hands. Disinfect frequently-touched surfaces such as doorknobs and handrails. Stay home if you are sick.

COVID-19 Day of Prayer and Fasting

Henry County Chair June Wood, with the support of Locust Grove Mayor Robert Price, Stockbridge Mayor Anthony Ford, McDonough Mayor Billy Copeland, and Hampton Mayor Steve Hutchison have proclaimed Sunday, April 5, 2020 as a county-wide day of prayer and fasting for those effected by COVID-19. They request that people of all faiths, religious traditions, and backgrounds throughout Henry County fast, pray, meditate, or take a moment of silence for those effected by the virus, our response to COVID-19, and for the first responders and healthcare workers on the frontlines in the fight against this disease.
