The Locust Grove Police Department remains on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our Officers are highly visible throughout the community, on foot, on bikes and in patrol cars, maintaining our low crime rate and safe environment for our citizens. For emergencies the Police can be reached by contacting 911.
To help maintain our low crime rate, the Locust Grove Police Department has developed the Community Oriented Policing Program. The objective of this initiative is to be proactive in assisting both local and merchants and private citizens develop programs and procedures to help reduce crime in our community.

Instruction and assistance are available on a number of topics such as crime prevention and reduction of shoplifting. The Police Department also provides courtesy security inspections of both businesses and private residences.
