- LATEST NEWS - Locust Grove Day application is now on the Events Page of our website. This annual festival of all that's Locust Grove is on Saturday, April 28, 2012 with rain date of May 12, 2012.

- Our 2nd Annual Mardi Growl 2012 will take place on Saturday, March 3, 2012. Find applications to be in the parade or to be a vendor on our Events and Newsletter Page.
- Extended hours at City Hall ends. All administrative sections of City Hall and the Public Safety Department have returned to 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM hours of operation effective January 20, 2012.
- ON-STREET PARKING REGULATIONS REVISED. On April 4, 2011, the regulations for on-street parking within the City was revised. ORDINANCE Please note: This does not relieve any Zoning Prohibition of the parking of commercial vehicles within residential subdivisions.
- Next City Council Regular Meeting is Monday, February 6, 2012 at 7:00 PM. Posted Agenda may be found on the Administration Department Page prior to the meeting date.
- E-Verify is now in effect for the City. Our E-Verify ID is 247882 effective November 4, 2009. Part of the GA Immigation Reform Act.
- Veterans' Project: The City is working to honor its veterans on this website and in more substantive forms later this year. In the newsletter, the form for submission to the project was mentioned. Form [click link].
- Construction on Sidewalks/Paths along Tanger Boulevard. A second ARRA "Stimulus" project is nearly complete along Tanger Boulevard and LG-Griffin Road. The project installed wide sidewalks connecting the Post Office, the Locust Grove Elementary School, the Library, the Linden Park Neighborhoods, and Carriage Gate to the Tanger Outlet Center area. Southeatern Site Development was the winning bidder at $367,650. This project was a ARRA Stimulus Project. Project is now being closed out. Expect final inspection and certain areas of construction later this year to fine-tune project for drainage..
